Does any know how to get the book Durin's Truth without stealing it. The wiki said I can buy it off her,but the option to buy it is not there. I'm I doing something wrong or I have to do something first.

Have you spoken with the Wheel Clan dwarf who gives you the quest?

Have you found the components and made the key?

Have you used the key to unlock the safe and find the map?

Have you visited the location on the map, and gotten the machine to work?

If you've done all of the above, then the dialog option should present itself. If not, and/or you can't be bothered...

1) Try stealing the key off of Mrs. Misk. Use a Fate point if you need to.

2) Try smashing the case. Of course, that won't go unnoticed...

I'm being as vague as possible, so as to keep this post relatively spoiler-free. If you want more details, just ask.

I did all that, though I only used one of the three object from the locker in the device. Do I need to use all three?

Yes. If you don't, then that part of the quest flags as incomplete.

Each time you correctly place another cylinder, then the message gets clearer, until finally you hear the whole thing.
