Every time i replay this classic game(at least for me it is, played it in childhood) i cannot help myself but think that man who wrote scenario or those responsible for voiceover are a "little" into NAZI ideology and their false stereotypes, i dont want to offend anyone, but how else could you interpret all Russian(supposedly by names) characters having either asian looks or asian voice. Those who played it may remember names like Olga(Russian name derived from Nordic Helga) Sislaja, Iwan King(Ivan traditional Russian name) and several others.

What do you think am i just mad or the scenarist is a fucking nazi??

I don´t think you are mad, but maybe you´ve been taken in by some stupid stereotype, namely that depicting people with certain physical or linguistic features automatically equals with racism. :)

The world in Aquanox consists of different power blocs. Two of the most powerful blocs are the Atlantic Federation and the Shogunate. The inhabitants of the Atlantic Federation are mostly descendants from inhabitants of the formar EU- and NATO-states, so their physical appearance is relatively homogenous and caucasian.

The Shogunate on the other hand, which spreads from East Pacific to the Indian Ocean, is was created by former inhabitants of China, Japan, some of the asian Tiger states and the CIS-states. In its population you can find descendants from asian countries as well as from former russia, and its culture and traditions are a somewhat wild mix of mainly japanese and russian ways of life.

And Iwan King is a former officer from the Shogunate who went AWOL.

So no, the authors of the Schleichfahrt (AD) and Aquanoc games were far faaar from being rasist, they were just depicting a world with power blocs that dereived from countries with different cultural identities.
First of all, sorry for bumping up this post, I mean no trolling whatsoever whether to the OP, the devs of the game or anyone who might otherwise be offended.

I never played the first entry in the series (and I know there's a game before the first AquaNox, but I'm not even going to bother trying to find it in order to play it), but I bought the second one during the last Insomnia sale and I was quite amazed by how good the game is, which left me wanting to eventually buy the first one. I honestly don't think the devs were being racist and/or identifying with Nazi ideals at all, at least from what I saw so far on the second game. Obviously, being from the Russian Federation, the OP is more aware of Nazi stereotypes towards Soviet Russia and Russia, in general, and maybe some of those elude me, since I'm not as knowledgeable on the matter, but, still... my opinion would be that no, I honestly don't think anyone on the developer team of these games shares any kind of Nazi/neo-nazi ideology.
