Agreed, they've been around before GoG came about & let many people know of old goodies, accompanied with a review & a forum to go along with game problems (similar to ours).

Even though GoG provides the "perfect" version of a game with patches & other extras, it was Abandonia & Home of the UnderDogs which gave me a reason to play "forgotten" games entirely.

SO TRY NOT TO MOCK 'EM, please! :)

I won't :p Abandonia is a great site. In my humble opinion, I think abandonware sites proved that there is a viable market for classic titles.
