Hi, installed the dlc we got when preordering...

as usual air based games seems to have problems with DLC thats installed later, it never shows up, and ingame this shows as locked.

The DLC skins can't be used in the campaign and that is logicial, BUT the skirmage says the DLC is 'locked' ?

I uninstalled main game and DLC and reinstalled but nothing ....

i installed the main game and then the DLC : no change
so i reversed it after uninstall I installed the DLC first and the main game later ( this should not be possible cause what would be the use of installing DLC without having the maingame ?

Anyway, its a little 'mess' now ..... :D

check screenshot: antihero_locked

ALL locked ....
i assume the skins could be used right away, i hope it's not the case that we have to play some skirmishes first and 'unlock' the DLC later...

there's also a weird option to enter a code on the main menu ? i dont see codes and don't have codes, unless its a leftover steam 'thingy' they forgot to remove from the gog version ( like the steam files , leftovers that are always in the mainfolders)

Same here ... I downloaded and installed the DLC, but cannot access the four skins in Skirmish mode, they show up as locked with a note that they're from a DLC. Downloaded and installed the DLC twice, but no use.

Maybe it's because of some some 'sloppy' programming that things dont work, as far is remember, a DLC should ask and check if the main game is installed, DLC can normally NOT be installed if main game is not detected :D
This DLC can be installed... also after uninstall all progress was NOT uninstalled ( must be floating in some users folder on the pc i guess)

Anyway, I have Guild of Dungeoneering and 2 DLC (other dev/publisher) , when it did not show up i asked the dev, he told me how to solve it, so the guild of dungeoneering dev seems to take his job serious and always tries to respond asap.

So i also asked this antihero dev at steam ( cause they love to be there at steam he;ping customers 24/7 apparently) .... but no reply

Maybe its because he is very busy , which is possible, but many other devs had time to help , it seems this one is pretty occupied elsewhere (steam).

I guess it might take a while before he notices us buyers here ... :D

Anyway, i also noticed on Steam that far to many devs simply do not answer (lazy or not interested) , there are dozens of games that have devs that never reply at steam (to busy or maybe not interested i dont know).... i created a list of those publishers/devs at steam that wont answer our questions so i can make sure i wont buy game from these publishers anymore, cause we customers have right to get support.

Hi,

Please re-download both the installer for the main game and the DLC and re-install everything. When we released the DLC we updated the main installer for the game.

Also, make sure your antivirus software isn't interfering with the install process.

It would actually have helped to tell the players that reinstalling the game will unlock the DLC ... I had to reinstall twice (once to my C: drive, where I don't put games normally) and once to my regular drive to get the game up to par again. I opened a ticket and they told me I should install to the regular GOG directory and that would help. They didn't suggest I should try reinstalling, because the main game had been changed, too.
It's fixed, right the minute the answers came thanks for all the help.
haven't replied a while during the summer monts in this section of the forum.

I also never use the c:\ thats a 'sacred' place only for real needed software to prevent the c disk from clogging up i have a few partitions, c= for office AV antimmalware and other usefool tools, de rest is for gaming

and maybe one for temp downloads cause they have to 'land' somewhere , this saves defragging 1 huge partiton cause smaller partitions work a charm.

Anyway: soon i will have to try to get larger HD
:D but maybe they won't be recognised by win7 no more cause i don't know how many years they will keep providing HD win7 can read now that Mickeysoft only cares for win 10.

Problem solved so if needed this topic can be closed, thanks for the help.
