Is there a way to download the "old" 15th edition?

the new "updated" 20th version runs slowly and does not have the "turbo boost" option anymore... i liked this one because that option made the game more fluid, intense and responsive...

And is it just me, or is the 20th version not properly 1920x1080 resolution?

I still have 15th installed as well, and can verify that it fills the screen in 1920x1080, but the 20th gives me black bars on the sides. Something closer to an old 4:3 resolution.

I'm glad I didn't uninstall. In most ways, the 15th seems superior so far.
The 20th Anniversary Edition works fine for me but I am bugged at how previously the 15th Anniversary Edition was able to run in proper widescreen yet this version leaves black bars on the side.
The only thing that the 15th edition is missing is the extra difficulty mode so far I could see... but the 20th edition is missing some rendering and resolution options, and some sound fx (in the remastered version)...

I hope that GOG give us the option to download both versions in the near future... because I hated this "upgraded" version... really...

maybe the original game ran at 15 fps like the 20th version... but its so low compared to the 15th engine (which rendered at 60fps just fine)... and I liked the remixed speed version... its far better...

unfortunately... I'm disappointed with this "new" version so far...
I'm also finding the controls get sticky especially during that prison escape on the elevator, I'm trying to use the elevator and the guy puts his gun out and starts to charge it.

thanks Schultz
Its good that we get to keep both editions unlike with Steam.
Do we though? Unless I missed something, I only have access to download the 20th anniversary edition.
Edit: Oops, yes Indeed I did miss something. I didn't expect it to be in the extras, for some reason.

pretty awesome!!!!

thanks VERY MUCH!!!
Awesome, it is nice to play this game in proper widescreen again and have it run a bit smoother to boot.
May I make a small request from our fine community? Could those of you who are having issues with the 20th Anniversary Edition of the game write to us via the Support link? The more info we get about any problems, the better the chance we can fix them.

Thanks guys :D.

Amiga versions are whole different can of worms, my friend. So no, we can't provide that version. Sorry :(

Apologies in advance if I'm speaking out of turn here.

Judas, The Steam version includes the original Amiga disk images of the game AS IS without an emulator. It isn't the usual Cloanto issues at play here, so no KS licenses to deal with.

I don't think anybody expects tech support for this, so I could probably create a guide on how to run them on real hardware, and kick in with some help on legal emulation options.

Any source of legal .adf files, especially client-free, is a good thing imho

Anyhoo, time to relurk methinks
