Some time ago, I wrote an article on what I think makes Another World an interesting and historically significant game.

After publishing this, people began to share with me their own stories and memories of playing the game, and I started to realise that preserving and writing about this kind of cultural impact is important.

I started doing research to gather together people's experiences. I've hit the minimum number of responses that I feel I need to move forward, but I'm still accepting late contributions.

If anybody (both new and vintage players' thoughts are welcome) has any experiences that like to share with me, I have a questionnaire up here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfsXrcreAG3-xbo4yEbz4bzO6xTwpV6I0JDyE4Mj_vT2BC4TA/viewform
That's a great article! I hadn't seen it before.

I've actually already written about my experiences with Another World on my own blog, although the post is several years old now:

I'll try to fill in your questionnaire too when I find some free time. I think an article about the cultural impact of the game is an excellent idea! Maybe I should replay it again before responding...

Thanks for sharing! I already have your article listed down in my notes, but if you do manage to find time to fill out the questionnaire, that'd be great too!

If you haven't spotted it, I also did a short (or long - short by my standards at least :D ) interview with Éric Chahi as a companion/intermediary piece between my previous article and the one I'm currently researching for.

I'll fill this out; I'll never forget the first time I booted this up on my old Commodore XT and heard the digital sound through my pc speaker! That awesome intro as well...
