I found a solution in Steam forums:
The game settings are stored in "My Documents" folder, under "Another World" folder. its a XML file. There you can change resolution to something like 1920x1080.
These are the XML tags that must be changed:
<resolutionWidth>1920</resolutionWidth>
<resolutionHeight>1080</resolutionHeight>
It seems the game uses the maximum resolution available, and it is not compatible with big resolutions like 4k.
