Lukin86: I'll tell you. The studio focuses only on the steam version (2 new campaign in preparation) and the multi steam (tournaments to test the servers and corrected the multi and etc). For the gog version they say they work on it's all not other precision.

2 answer to it either they lie and only work on the steam version (which I think), or they just have 1-2 person working on the gog version and so shows the may of interest for the gog version.
Yikes does not sound good either way. Thanks friend.

Nothing ancestors legacy is my worst experience pre-order level and because of him and some other indie games with multi, I am now asking questions about future follow-up games indie on gog.

August 22. Three months overdue...
Happy 3 months everyone!

What other new releases have you been playing in this slight span of time?

We can say it now the game is definitely canceled on gog. Because even if it comes out on gog by miracle the follow-up of the patches will certainly be crap and in the final the game will be removed from the catalog as was the case of some games.

Don't forget that on the Scheme forum plans for DLC expansions are being discussed, a la 'oh, wouldn't it be cool to play the game as the Romans?'. Meanwhile us sad second-class citizens are here asking the simpler question, 'oh wouldn't it be cool to play the game?', full stop. Not that DLC is necessarily a good thing in games or something to be excited about, but just the total disparity in treatment is getting increasingly disappointing.

To be clear: I fully expect that the majority of devs will always give the Scheme DRM-infested monopoly special treatment compared to us. I am never surprised when devs skip putting their games on GOG, which is not GOG's fault, it is the fault of the developers, Scheme, and of weakminded masses who refuse to play their games DRM-free. The gut punch is when a developer promises a game for here, then backs out. The lack of communication since then is just insult to injury.

Oh something else since its release on steam the game was several times in promo 30%. Would be staggering if he goes out on gog to get paid full fare to his lot on gog.
Hello I talked to a developer about the gog version. For invalidation it's not them who take care of the gog version. It is the 1c company that has engaged another studio to carry the portage.

voici la response du dev en anglais
@Lukin 1C Studios (our publisher) is resposible for the GoG version. An outside contractor has been hired by them to port the game, and well, it's still not ready yet. I know this information is in no way helpful, and that you're going to blame us anyway (and if not you, then many others), but I have really no way of helping you with this. I do not have any information on the pricing or any "we're sorry" kind of move as well.

Thank you so much for the response and update.

These developers are being so wacky about this. I can't speak for others but I don't "blame" them for hiring an outside contractor to port the game. What I blame them for is not being up-front about this to people like me who pre-ordered here, and also for going radio-silent to GOG users here for 3+ months and counting. Are they allergic to us? Does Websense or something block GOG.com from their browsers? Why is it so hard to communicate with paying customers on here? And of course no timetable on how long it is gonna take this to get ported, just "still not ready", no better than saying "slight delay".

I love GOG but this was their most embarassing game deal yet,
I refunded in the first week of delay and didn't buy it on steam,
probably not buy it even on a 5 euro sale.

Embarrassing on the part of the developers, maybe.

Kudos to GOG for doing right by consumers.
