TheRealQuasar: During the fight tutorial, I can get through the first bit, but once the guy tries to teach me my defensive ability I appear to 'die', and repeat the scene from earlier, when I am beaten up after leaving the starting area, but outside the world.

Any hints for this?

EDIT - Seems to have fixed itself when I reloaded the game. Strange.
It's a script malfunction. It usually happens when the system is clogged, simple reset or reload should fix it.
