I've recently downloaded Amnesia for Mac OS X and I've been noticing a small problem in the music and background atmosphere sounds. They seem to have a very short "skip" every now and again; the game isn't running on a CD. Is there a problem with the music files? Are they not properly synced in the Mac OS X version? Is the fact that I have "High" details turned on presenting a problem? The only option in the music input on my computer (v.10.6.8) is "Built-In Audio." It's just a small problem, but I'd like to know if there's anything I can do about it. Thank you.

I believe that this game was ported using WINE and the error might have something to do with compatibility issues with your version of OS X. V.10.6.8 is Snow Leopard if I'm not mistaken?

I am running v.10.8.4, which is the latest version of OS X, and it doesn't have this sound problem.
I've played it again recently and the music doesn't seem to be skipping now. It must've just been a fluke.

The compatibility requirements for the game state that you need to have Mac OS X v.10.6.8 or higher to play the game. I looked through the game files and there doesn't seem to be a Wineskin for the program. OutOfOrder Games created a genuine Mac port, despite some flaws I've seen and heard.
