Amid Evil on GOG specifically says it's GOG BUILD 2008 but there's no patch notes for it. Meanwhile the steam forums get a full post explaining the changes with each build. Are there plans to actually add patch notes to the GOG version and make sure that it's got feature parity with the steam release?
