It's very sad that fake reviewers can try to bump up the score of a game like this. They log in under multiple accounts, pretending to be from different continents, and simply copy a similar message which says "Hello hello people" or "Nihao nihao people" in various languages. And of course, they ALL give the game five stars!

It's so obvious that they are fake. I hope their "reviews" get removed.

The game itself sounds very interesting and quite innovative. The real reviews are generally positive, although the game sounds quite hard to learn at first. Hopefully I'll get the chance to give it a try sometime.

(P.S. If the developers are found to be responsible for the fake reviews, then IMO the game should be removed from the GOG store.)

Well... there's another possibility... perhaps this user is the responsible for the fake accounts and the fake reviews because (maybe paid from someone or for personal interests) he wants to get removed this game from GOG store or at least damage the developers...

But seriously speaking...

We see all days users that make "not-reviews" (like "the game doesn't start [on my pc]") with 1 star, so damaging the image of the game because these are not reviews but forum arguments.

I think that we all can see the reviews, can judge ourselves if them are good or not, and can search for gameplay videos or other reviews to see how the games are.

If the game will be deleted from GOG store the users who likes it and bought it will be damaged, so I really hope it will not happen.

That said it would be nice if the "not-reviews" were removed, but all of them, not just those of this game. Obviously if it doesn't cost too much time to those who have to do that.

TLDR version , Sseth made a video for this game. He's quite popular and the games he "reviews" get a huge surge in interest.
His Star Sector review basically crashed the developers site because they couldn't handle the traffic of new players asking questions in the forums

Also , Sseth supports Gog. He usually adds a GOG link for the game he's reviewing

We live in age of thriving nihilism where people litter with such stuff wherever they go. Including this game's reviews. Blame the people littering, not the game nor its developers.

K, we will, cause it takes another faker to know one. ;-)) We do utilize Ste*m, but only for the comprehensive reviews there. When we decide to purchase a product, we do it here on GOG, cause there is no VAT tacked on(unlike S***m), unless one resides in Poland, where GOG is based. As a peasant at heart, we respect such business integrity, and strive to support that. Besides, when ya have a big crimson bear lurking on ur eastern doorstep, you need all the TLC ya can get.;-))

I only found out about the game because of Sseths video on youtube. Admittedly i still haven't gotten around to playing it much but it looks quite fascinating.
