It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

The title screen is white 3D text moving around on the screen, then for some gray boxes the entire screen is white. Game is thus unplayable. What can I do to fix this?

Edit:
I read from other posts that this is quite a common problem. To fix this situation, other players have resorted to the following solution:
1. Copy the dialog and movies folders from the game folder
2. uninstall the game
3. install the spanish version of the game by choosing "espanol" on the installation options
4. Paste the english version of the dialog and movies folders to replace the spanish ones
5. From the link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8jei8izaeh01obp/AAD_UjM5Wf2BR5afE213y9fga?dl=0, Download the LOC file of whatever language you prefer and rename it to "locale" (yes, no extensions), and MOVE IT TO THE "PROVIDER" FOLDER, which you can find in the game folder. After that the new .exe should work

The game should now be playable, with some inconveniences:

The controls configuration submenu and several items on the main menu are consequentially in Spanish, and the player might need to search online for the english translation of the control keys to play this game. To Quit the game, choose "Salir" on the main menu.

As this game is broken, if not for the third party fixes described above, in my opinion it is only worth buying at a major discount.

This worked just fine for me.

Kind of risky making people go to third-party websites to play a legally-purchased game. It'd be nice if GOG offered a functional patch with the installer.
