I write referring to a problem I am having with AITD3 (it doesn't happen with the original). That reproduces to different systems, bot using wine (I use Linux) or dosbox by using the CDROM images....

While the original used a cue file to recognise the audio and music tracks and it works fine, AITD3 finds the files inside a folder containing MP3 ripped from the CD. That works fine for the music, but when reading a book or listening to voice the track will start delayed and way into the text, cutting the narrative. It is quite annoying actually.

Is it not possible to offer the same system as AITD1 which works perfect? Or if someone else has the same problem, is it possible to edit the voice tracks and add a white noise for a few seconds so they start when they are mean to?

Thanks a lot

The problem actually lies in the fact that for some unknown reason they took the audio files from the horribly redubbed windows version and applied them to the dos version. I'm working on a patch for that, need to do a bit more testing to make sure it doesn't wreck anything, but it's smooth sailing so far.

I'll be excited to try it out!
I though I shared this, but eventually I undusted Audacity and did it myself. I only did the French version tough. Basically my work was adding two seconds at the start of each track.... I didn´t complete the game, but so far it seems to work. It is much better than the original.

BTW, tried to talk with someone in the team so they could fix it or implement my patch. They just ignored me
