After being dissapointed of the Realms of Arkania Trilogy having only midi music instead of the fantastic cd tracks and gog never managed to get the rights for the cd versions I wonder which version the AitD games are. CD tracks or horrible midi music?

I'm waiting for the response of this one as well. The first 2 I played with Midi-music, I didn't even know that there were cd versions - but the 3:rd came with cd music only I think? At least where I live. That music haunts me still...
I've just played a little bit of all 3. 1 + 2 are midi but it's exactly what I remember from my old CD versions.. its been a long time though. AITD3 has more advanced music so i'm guessing it's the CD stuff.

EDIT: Just to update the music in game is definately the same as the soundtracks you get as a bonus. So i'm sure it's the CD music, even if it still sounds midi-ish.

Just bought the trilogy (again) and I have to correct you. All 3 games have the CD soundtrack working in game as they did when they were released on Cd back in the 90's.

How do I know that?

1. I remember the music
2. I still posses the original 3 games on CD's
3. Each game takes up aprox. 350MB, which is way more than the the Midi/floppy version (obviously).
;)

I just updated as you posted that!

Bottom line is it's a fantastic deal for the trilogy @ $5.99 so basically buy it OP!
Are these the full blown CD versions with the voiced lines or do they just have the CD soundtracks attached?

There was full VO when I played the first game a half hour ago.

They are all fully voiced with Cd sountrack. I remember the original CD versions had an insane amount of tracks, since every line of dialogue had it's own track plus the music tracks :)
These games were some of the first "Multimedia Games".

But I suspect GOG to have converted all tracs into ogg files, as the games are only half the size of the Originals, despite them having complete soundtracks.

Buy it! the whole pack works just fine on Win7 64 Bit.

Thank you very much. Bought the games. Loved them in the past.
The soundtrack to AITD3 is missing the rock song which played over the end credits
I actually prefer the old midi music to the enhanced cd music. Is there a way to make the music sound like the floppy version?
