Hello everybody

For those of you who are looking at this message, the CD-ROM version in Italian is a broken mess. Basically, what happens is that the voice and the narration runs perfectly but every document that you find in the game is switched to something else.

For example, if you read the Shorty Leg document, you hear its narration but what you see on screen is the document about Voodoo. And then another problem, some documents are COMPLETELY cut.

Use the image attached as a reference. It's Ted Stryker's document but it's unreadable. AiTD2 needs a patch ASAP.

I've found the problem but I don't know how to fix it. By using some fanmade tool found online, I opened the ITALIANO.pak files from the floppy and the CD-ROM Version of the game. And it turns out that they are basically the same, and they should not because the CD-ROM version has one more entry inside which is the 00000004.dat. So, what happens is the file that is the 04 in italian should be the 05, the 06 should be the 07 and so on.

UNFORTUNATELY even if I fixed the whole thing I don't know how to recompress everything in the old "implode" compression of Alone in The Dark.
