Its pretty easy on Director's Cut once you get to know the levels.

Alien = Rape everything in a nanosecond
Marine = Struggle with night vision, otherwise piece of cake
Predator = Tank mode with nearly unlimited health and nice set of weapons

The major struggle is dealing with collision detection and erratic alien movement otherwise its pretty doable for most.

IndieKing: Any help regarding difficulty ?
Crazydaisy's son here. Basically the game isn't too hard once you get use to it, but it has its moments. To be honest, even though I remember the AI not being the sharpest tool in the shed back in the day, on modern systems it seems like the AI has more problems for some reason. Even with GOG's efforts.

Maybe I'm just seeing the game through the lens of nostalgia, but I swear enemy predators actually did something other than run around and die...and predaliens didn't get stuck in the floor and wall.

I had to work with the game to get the two queen battles to work right.

About the only really hard campaign mission is the 4th marine one. I pretty much just made a mad dash for the end of it, because aliens seem to spawn quite a lot on that map. (The space station)

As for each individual character...

Alien: You're like an F-22 with teeth in this game. As long as you are careful not to take too much damage and don't run headlong into a bunch of enemies or bad situations unless you're forced to, it shouldn't be too hard. Your worst enemies are minigun marines...and getting stuck on corners. Be careful of flamethrowers, sentry guns, and androids. The tail attack is only really useful against predators...and maybe the occasional android.

Marine: Probably the hardest campaign character. You can't fall 1 inch without taking falling damage, most of the weapons are useless, so stick with the pulse rifle and smartgun unless you want to get yourself killed. About the only thing you need the minigun for is to kill praetorians. The rest of the weapons are impractical, although the SADAR and Skeeter are good for saving ammo if you have to kill a xenoborg(easy to avoid) or predator(AI is wonky anyway?). The flamethrower and grenade launcher are more likely to get you killed than kill an enemy.

Predator: As long as you use the right weapon for the right enemy and thin out groups of marines from a distance, it shouldn't be too tough. To save energy when fighting aliens, try to use a strong wristblade attack if you have one or two to deal with. Use the disc on praetorians. The plasmacaster(shouldercannon) is better against marines, aliens tend to avoid the hit because of how fast they move. Plasma pistol is good against aliens, but not up close.

Be warned. This game has bugs...no I mean technical bugs, but the xeno's count too =D .

*squints eyes*

Not sure if serious. =P

Hey, Rebellion! Get your 2010 AvP game on GoG! I will love you forever if you do.

Also someone needs to work out the legal issues and get AvP2 on here as well. I know you guys didn't make that one, but still...
