I find my tongue far more useful.

But with a second mouth you could sing in two voices in church choir.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that middle-mouth is connected to a pair of lungs.

It's mostly good for bashing through skulls and eating innards. And I don't like innards so much.

Moray eels have the almost exact same double jaw setup (I guess the xenomorph was based on that) and they depend on them to survive.

Of course, I'm not an eel, so that really doesn't help us. :P

It can help you out of danger. Just imagine you are harassed by some guy and in an act of self defense you bite his face off in a split second. Before he realises what happened you can run away.

Evidently the moray eel can't suck it or swallow so it depends on the 2nd set of jaws to pull the food in.

But you could bash through a jar and eat the jam. You wouldn´t have to open any food packaging ever again.

In answer to your question: No, definitely not, but I could see some point in having an alien tail though, or acidic blood. That'll teach my dentist!

But with a tail one would look like a freak. On the other hand you could scratch your back any time.

With acidic blood you could never get a vaccination.

Honestly, for some of us, the tail would be one of the last strange things people would notice. :P
