As I stated in the thread name, I already have the steam version (have been playing it for a few years in fact).
So..is there anyhing about this GOG version that is different....does it offer anything more?
Should I bother with getting the GOG version (it is cheap at the moment.)

Also....i know that it's a different developer, but GOG should seriously get onto Aliens vs Predator two. The multi player was so goo that people still actively play it today even though the developer prety much abandoned it.

The GOG version is identical to the Steam version. There's no reason to get it, especially when multiplayer for both versions will be integrated.

AvP2 cannot be re-released because the rights are currently split between Warner Brothers and 20th Century Fox. Warner owns the game/tech since they bought Monolith in 2004 and Fox owns the intellectual property (characters, etc.). Two competitors will never come to a costly legal agreement over a 13 year old PC game.
Wow thanks mad max.
A very useful reply..just what I needed to know.
Well thats such a shame that AVP 2 has been killed by ownership rights and red tape. People still play it on Gameranger.
The GOG version is inferior to the Steam version if you want multi-language because it only supports emglish language (why I cannot tell - support told me something about "technical reasons").
