Hope this helps: http://www.freegameempire.com/games/albion/manual-pdf

But just to note, GOG: Would be helpful finding the manual also here.
I've the french version of the manual for those who are looking for it.
J'ai le manuel du jeu en français pour ceux qui le recherche.

It seems that gog has really de-emphasized extras in the last year or so. Probably only a minority of players ever download a manual or wallpaper and, if steam is anything to go by, many purchasers will just leave this game untouched in their library or play it for like 20 minutes.

However, for a 1995 game including the manual is crucial to being able to play it. I hope gog corrects this.

Indeed. I gave the game a quick test-drive last night and while the controls/mechanics certainly aren't very complex it's still good to know how to go about doing things. Plus, I've always enjoyed the intro/background stories most manuals of that time had. In this case though it's kind of bare bones and most of it can be gleaned by wandering the ship and talking to crew members before embarking on the short-lived shuttle flight.
Probably mentioned somewhere but if its of interest to folks there's a walk through and some other bits here https://web.archive.org/web/20110109023331/http://www.bluebyte.net/eng/products/albion/index.htm
I should have read the comments first...Only reason I got this was because my original manual and box got wet while it was in storage. What is up with GoG lately not having any "bonus materials" for games?
I just found the manual in the game's folder.

where? i can't find it...
Agree that this should have been bundled with the game. First place to check for manuals on the interwebs is usually replacementdocs also found the albion manual there : http://www.replacementdocs.com/download.php?view.6601
Hope this helps.

It seems that it is just included with the french version of the game.
I installed the english version and indeed, the manual wasn't located inside the installation folder as it was in the french one.

It is not very hard to find on the internet anyway, the english version at least :

I've scanned in a pretty thorough German manual from a budget re-release:

Thanks! a good manual ... and very nostalgic
I always favored GOG over Steam when it came to manuals, scans of maps and basicly the stuff that came with the old games by defaut.
I hope they keep up with that and don't go by the numbers that only a small percentage of people download manuals.
I for one appreciate manuals alot.
