I bought AW today. The download and instalation went smooth as usual. The same for the first cutscene but as soon as the games starts It get's really, REALLY slow. Even at the lowest configuration settings, including the resolution, it"s simply umplayable.

Now I don't want to brag or anything, but my PC is good. It should be able to run this game without any problem. I already searched throughout all the topics but none could help. If anyone knows how to fix it I would be very thankful.

Here is some info on my PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 902 @ 2,67GHz 2,66GHz
RAM 4,00 GB (3,24 GB usefull)
32 Bits
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
Windows 7

Peace

Never mind this. Just found the solution at the one post I missed kkk.
Asking for a solution, finding itself and then just run away is uncool. ^^

It would be uncool if the author of this thread had not mentioned that he found the solution.
That would really be "running away" as you describe it. This way people won't double efforts.
It would be better still if Shadow9001 had provided a link to the solution found, but linking (not even internal linking is not possible yet on the GoG forums. Probably to frustrate spam linking attempts.
This is perfectly acceptable behaviour to me.

Remedy/ GOG have provided a new patch (1.06). It has been included on your game shelf.
This might solve the slowness you and I are experiencing.
(my HDD containing Windows has died on me, so I can' t test this for myself now until I get a new HDD)

Thanks jorlin. Already installed it. And in case anyone is also having the same problem, here is the title of the topic where I found the solution:

"Q: Slow Performance on decent computer"

But it only works for people who have an ATI.
