I am receiving an error message when I try to download the first portion and get "The setup files are corrupted. Please download a new copy of the program." I have redownloaded it multiple times, but still won't work. Help plz?

I used GoG.com downloader and worked well, but, when once i installed the game, and start playing it, during the first cinematic scene, it popped me out to the desktop 2-3 times with a small windows saying "verifying files".

Once cinematic finished, i played a while, until I arrive to a bridge and behind me starts a cinematic scene with some kind of tornado. Then, my game freezes, and i have to finish process from "Task Manager".

I will try to re-download installer. :/

My friend is having the same problem. I hope they're going to do something about it.

I have a similar problem right now. I tried downloading the first portion and when it failed I tried using the GOG downloader. Went well until about halfway through, then it said some error had occured. "No biggie", I thought, "I'll try again, not like I have anything important to do anyway." Well, now the game won't even get into the downloader and whenever I try it crashes (the downloader that is). I have informed the GOG crew, so hopefully it'll be resolved.

Same boat here - the gog downloader refuses to redownload it! Trying the download through plain old browser now :(

Same problem here, hope they get it sorted out, was looking forward to a Friday evening (comfy couch) game.

Got the same problem, installer complains about corrupt file but GOG Downlaoder crashes when i try to readd alan wake to the download qeue. Even deleting all downloaded files (to prevent any hangs while it tries to check and use already present files) doesn't help.

There was an error server side, should be fixed now (or in the next hour)

Was reporting based on this post, thus the may take an hour or so. Downloading through the browser should work normally though.

Well to be fair Steam has similar issues sometimes (e.g. "servers too busy", randomly pausing game downloads, getting stuck on "preparing to launch..." for ages etc.). It's just bad luck/timing for these things to happen while you're trying to download & play... I hear it should all be fixed now anyway :)

I'm having problems with the downloader too.
