dgnfly: If you so triggered by the topic you don't need to comment and can stay in your safespace.

You're probably very proud about all the censorship going on in the gaming industry cause it boost your white knight status.
I am not triggered, I am bored of hearing one group calling the other group names - which you just proved perfectly in calling me "white knight".

Being German of course I dislike censorship especially in games and movies - we had and still have a lot of it. However I don't see any sense in blaming this on specific groups and calling them names.

Like I said, if you don't like it you can just move along!! But people like you never do you just cry and moan about it yourself because you don't wanna be confronted by the fact people are pushing their own Ideological believes on others through the gaming industry.

You don't like censorship, But you don't like people calling out the type of people calling out censorship, Sure sounds like the NPC normie who just wants to ignore it for the sake of wanting to be ignorant.

There is nothing wrong with calling our people who push their own Ideological agenda and making people aware of it is much better than what you are actually doing, which is absolutely nothing!!

Thanks for the laugh ... and you even act as if you know me. I pity you and with this I am out.

I'm getting more of a laugh cause right now you just wanna brush the argument away by pretending you actually care about censorship but won't call it out or even question it. But then again when you can't cope with the concept that if you keep your mouth shut and not call it out it'll just spread like it has been doing for years.

Your main comment in general shows your ignorance cause anybody would be happy if people questioned the notion of censorship instead of sticking their head into the ground so they can pretend nothing is going on.

Please don't feed into these kinds of arguments, guys.

The game has no censorship compared to the Japanese version. In fact, the original Japanese releases of the game lacked strip CGs for major male characters and only had them for the major female characters, but this wrong was righted for all further versions around the time of the original English release.

Anyhow, data-wise, none of the files have been changed in years; it's only the executable files that have been altered to accommodate the GOG release and the only changes made have been related to implementing the GOG API, making sure the game worked correctly DRM-free, etc. along with the addition of more resolutions to the configuration tool and such. So it's more or less identical to the Steam version (and the Steam version has gotten updates with the same changes).

While not going one way or the other inb the Arguement matter persay as I do see your piont and to a degree agree with you.. But it is a actual justifiable worry for gamers and other sorts of people into other mediums of entertainment .. So it is a reasonable worry as for a prime example here Akiaba's Trip is the sort of game that would be a prime target for getting altered/censored in modern day .. so people are usually worried about that sort of stuff happening when a old game resurfaces on a platform .. Exspecially if they love the game.. I am not trying to argue here but just explain why this sort of arugment is a thing here on this games discussion part of the site encase you might not be aware of how bad things have gotten in the last few years .. Not trying to be disrespectaful but give the side of a regular consumer and fan of this game and other games too. So ya just saying

Yes... let's ignore the facts you people would censor your games when the politically correct crowd demands it. like you did with Akiba's beats over a mere KKK billboard that was just a joke unrelated to the west, kinda like how ATLUS now censors for the politically correct crowd of babies. I don't support censorship neither if the company makes dumb excuses for it.

Thank you for the work you do on these PC ports! I'd hope that more of your games come to GOG faster than they do, but always happy to buy one of your games here knowing it's a quality effort as far as it possible. :)
Xseed and Marvelous have been pro-censorship for a long time, so people wondering whether or not a re-released title has censorship should be expected.

That being said, it doesn't look like anything has been censored for this title, at the moment.
