I have updated the game with all the new DLC today.
I ran the game and loaded an older save and it loaded OK.
I tried to save the game and got - "Failed to open file". Not required permissions. See attachment.
I have run game with Admin Rights, and the Gog client too. I set the folder permissions to Full Access settings, added the security permissions to all the folders - including Paradox. Added "Everyone" and "Users". I still could not save the game and received the same error.
Added exclusions to Malwarebytes.
Deleted the games folder and restarted without cloud saves. Repeated as above then started a new game.
Started Quick Start game with random leader and got another error saying could not save Leader Profile, then it saved the game but after that it cannot save the game with the same error as above. Minimized the game and the save file existed but was gone after I existed the game to the desktop.
Probably looking to get my refund.
