Hello! The issue is this: I've installed the game and when I try to launch it, it "Launches", but it's like a ghost, I can't tab over to it, it's a process in the task manager, but it doesn't actually have any window or anything to let me select the game,

Have you tried "alt+enter" a few times to switch between full screen?

Have you tried running the exe as an administrator?

What's your operating system you're trying it from? (e.g. linux with wine, windows 7, 10, etc?)

I hope you find your solution!

Apologies for not returning to this earlier, but I tried this again and it doesn't work now either.

OS is Windows 11.

I've only used Win10. But assuming it is fairly similar, go to "Virus and Threat Protection", then select "protection history". Are there any messages concerning AOW files?
Have you tried starting the game in windowed mode?

Another trick is you can attempt to change your screen resolution in windows to see if that helps. If it does, enter a game, go into the menu and you can change around the display settings in there.

Let us know if you have luck with that approach.
