Yes, I was concerned about this as well and asked on their discord how well they keep up with updating on the various store fronts and they responded saying everything updates simultaneously. So I bought it on gog and my experience so far, over 3 weeks for 1 primary scheduled update and two hotfixes suggests they spoke the truth.

Only thing I find lacking is that I can't find a way to access any patch notes on gog or through galaxy.

There's a link to the patch notes in the game's main menu. I know it's not the same what you mentioned, still it's available when you need it.

I love that they keep updating GOG at the same time as Steam.

I'm always ok with a delay between the platforms but its frustrating when one platform gets abandoned after release.

Yeah I really love just about every behavior I've seen so far from these devs and I've been preaching the gospel of this game to everyone who will listen.

Already feels like a full game, still adding content, stable, takes suggestions from the community, eliminates stuff that is normally annoying about a game (both in the game and in the real world with patches, community engagement, etc.)

Thats shows the patch from January 23 for me. The game is updated though.
