I was really happy to see ADOM here.

sadly, there appears to be an error in the NotEye script:
dofile [games/adom-creature.noe:551: unfinished string near '"..cloak].pic']

Perhaps someone has lines 550 to 552 from a working version, so I can copy&paste the correct lines and check out the deluxe'ness asap ? :)

This is quite an unusual problem.

Which platform are you playing on? Did you try to repair the game files?

Does this error happen for every character you create?

Could you please upload the mentioned "adom-creature.noe" and the "adom-pc.noe" files? Thanks!

Just tried galaxys "repair installation" function, and whatever happened to the files on the initial install seems resolved now.

A cursory examination of the affected file made it look like there was part of another file appended to the original file, which noch ends with the dofile on line 550.

I appreciate your fast reply, nonetheless.
