Is there any fix for the what-passes-for-'cutscenes' skipping mid-cutscene?

Also 9 out of 10 times when I select an action after holding left-mouse down on an interactive object until choices show, nothing is happening. Only after erratically moving the mouse and then clicking again sometimes helps even when there is only 1 action available....

Also, why do objects have choices if they can't be selected? what's the friggin point? Irritate the hell out of a player? Coz if so, it's working.

And since I like to play games for my enjoyment instead of raising my blood pressure, I've decided to delete this game for the time being until a patch makes this playable.
