I am quite sure they give every customer a full overview of what they get. But it is up to the customer to actually read the documents. In any case they might just decide not to use 2 platforms for beta testing.

The explanation, that they don't do it because GoG does not use DRM is bollocks in any case.

As a loooong time Steam user with a huge library and having been spoiled for over a decade of lightning fast patches, I've come to look at GOG this way...

* I now value the DRM-free above all else
* I'm learning to live with the fact that patches tend to be more like the consoles for some titles... spread out and not as frequent
* Patience is a virtue (this one I'm still working on ;)

As long as I know a patch is going to come, I'll just wait and play something else in the meantime. I've been finding that for most newer titles, they get updates pretty swift, for mid to older titles (pre-Galaxy era) you sometimes have to prod devs/publishers to get those last few patches that got forgotton on GOG
