Yeah... mostly because it pains me to see an empty subforum stuck at Nov. 30, -0001 as the date for its last activity. :P

Anyway, type away!

NB: I haven't played enough of the game, yet, to form a solid opinion. So far, I find it pretty entertaining, solid controls, pretty graphics and art style, smooth gameplay.

I must give this game a shot under windows. I bought the game for linux and i have sloppy controls, the framerate is poor and as soon as there a lighteffects the game starts to stutter.

Im pretty sure that most of this issues came from the "slow" open source drivers for my ATI Card, but anyway. Thats an 2D Jump'n'Run Puzzler. Other Games like Limbo, or Waking Mars run smoothly.

I'm afraid that might be the case... I've got a GTX 650 and I'm running the Nvidia proprietary drivers on Linux Mint, and the game runs smooth like butter.
Yes. I booted into Windows (10) and there the game runs smooth, also the controls are more precise. ( I use an XBOX 360 Controller). It seems that the game runs single threaded and the control depends on the framerate.

Also the game only supports 16:9 and 16:10 widescreen monitors in fullscreen mode. I own an old 4:3 display and "A Boy and its Blob" stretches the graphics to fit the full screen. There is no option for a letterbox.

The game has sweet artwork, nice puzzles, and fluid animations, not to mention the "cuddle button", but i'm afraid the pc port was made without many concerns.
Pretty good puzzle game. Only real complaint is that the bean UI was obviously made for Wiimote and the controls for the port are clunky even with a gamepad.

You prob don't care by now but you're better off emulating the original Wii version if you want 4:3.
