Hello.

I bought the Game two Days ago and installed it with the GOG Galaxy. When i tried to start the game a message pops up and say "Direct3D 11 not found. Do you wish to launch Windows Update?". I can pick yes,no or cancel but it dosent matter what i click on, nothing else happen.
After that error occurs i tried to run it as administrator and also in compatibility mode for Windows 7 but that didnt worked. So i installed the directx of the __redict and _CommonRedist folder and the VCRedist i found in the folders too but that didnt helped ether.
After that didnt helped i search for a solution for general Drect3D 11 missing and found recomundations to install DirectX 9.0c and some other directx versions, so i installed some different Version and tried to start the game, also by trying different compatibility modes and as administrator but the game dont want to start.

I also checked my DirectX Version with DxDiag and i have installed version 12 and no errors.

Can someone here tell me what to do? The support didnt answered my question since two days.

Shot in the dark, but you have the latest video driver installed for your gfx card? I believe it's 364.72 for NVidia.

Yes i have installed the driver version 364.72

and you used the DirectX web installer?

What I do is uninstall every portion of the NVidia driver using the Windows add/remove tool. Then I run the free tool CCleaner on the registry. Finally I use the free tool Driver Fusion and go to the "Driver Family" click on the "NVidia" box and then click "Details" and delete the registry leftovers with that tool. I reboot and do a clean install of the latest driver. Works every time for me. I am using Windows 7 64 so I have no idea if this will work for you in 10.

I downloaded that installer the third time now and when i try to install it the setup say I already have the same or a newer version installed.

Maybe try the steps I do, but don't blame me if it destroys the OS. I have been using those steps for years and it always has worked for me.

I solved the Problem :D

I reinstalled the Game as administrator, then i installed all vcredist versions from the Game folder __redist and restarted the computer. After that i made exception rules for the Windows Defender for the gamefolder and for the game and the launcher exe files. Then i startet the game as administrator and now it works.

I already had installed the vcredist versions so I just clicked repair. Maybe the previous installed Visual Studio 2015 corrupted some files, i dont know.

Hi, I bought the game today and have the same issue as Killerawft had. Allways getting the message "Direct 3d 11 not found" I tried the same steps as Killerawft did but unfortunetly I have no _redist folder in my game folder. Did I miss something? Using Windows 7 64 bit. Can anyone help or give me step by step guide?
