It says both in the Windows and Android versions that you can see other players playing or racing with you in real-time and compare yourself to them, however how can you do that when the game on GOG says it's singleplayer?

Or does being online and connected to the network still qualify as being "singleplayer" even though you do see other players, and thus logically it would be considered a multiplayer game, even if you don't interact with others?

It's technically still singleplayer since you do not interact with others in any way. You can simply see what routes they took.

Rabiku: It's technically still singleplayer since you do not interact with others in any way. You can simply see what routes they took.
