This a puzzle not a management game.
You could find it amusing at first, typical factory mechanics, bring a resource to a place, create another, but there are too few resources to consider it a factory game. The game revolves around logistics not resources. Ants are your logistics here, you create paths for them like if you were designing a PCB board (hence the electronics esthetics of the game) as board design was clearly an inspiration to the dev.
The problem is that you have to constantly destroy and rebuild all your logistics. The game forces you to make drastic changes to your layout once you more or less get to understand the game.
Not only that; the difficulty in the game comes from the ants; you need special ants for special tasks but they live for a couple of seconds, meaning you have to constantly produce ants, use the logistics paths to create the correct ones and the more the specialized they are, the less they live.
Just have this in mind: this is not a factorio game; logistics use switches of various types to automate the ants, meaning all your layouts have to be very well thought out, but remember that the game will force you to destroy it all and start again to accommodate new mechanics as the game progresses. Yes, in the bottomline, you are destroying your "board" and rebuilding it all the time. All the time you put into your logistics is erased with a new forced modification that is needed to progress.
The game is not unplayable or bug ridden. Its in my opinion, boring and its one of those games that break golden rules: "Do not make the player realize he is doing the same thing over and over" AND "Do not force the player to destroy his constructs". I honestly don't like to have to constantly undo what I did a minute ago. I feel my time was wasted and everything I do will have to be undone in seconds.
If you find these kind of "adapting" mechanics fun and can endure destroying all you built to rebuild it again with modifications, maybe you will like this game. To me, this is a "sandbox's" worse face.
