DevOps Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Leader with management skills to join our team with a mission to increase the efficiency, quality, and security of our product development and operations. In this role, you will oversee our DevOps engineers, who are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, development environment, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. You will work closely with other teams, including product, engineering, and infrastructure, to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and highly available.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of DevOps engineers responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and highly available
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology stack, infrastructure, and operations processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in our DevOps processes and practices to increase efficiency, enhance quality and reduce risk in product development and operations
  • Work with stakeholders to define goals, prioritize projects, and ensure that projects are delivered on time along with desired outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to provide visibility and alignment on DevOps projects, initiatives, and performance.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and coach team members to enhance their skills and support their career development

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or Infrastructure engineer, with at least 2 years of continuous experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the challenges while using hybrid infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of benefits, limitations, and risks while using each of the well-known cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OVH)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible ).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Knowledge of Attlasian’s tools like Jira and Confluence sufficient for efficient collaboration with other teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
