What is this story about?

 

Follow the journey of a raven — from his very first flight to the end of his life.

Very Enjoyable!

Ive been playing for a few hours and can say that this game is very enjoyable. The graphics are very similar Zelda botw and atmosphere is phenomenal. The story is decent and because it's open world you can go anywhere you'd like. The puzzles are not overly difficult but are just hard enough to want to keep going. The controls are simple and so is the game. Very chill game that you can sit back and relax with. Worth every penny. Update. After playing for a few hours I beat the game. Not a very long game but still very fun.

Raven's freedom

After two cosy hours as a curious raven there is a lot to like for me in this game. Looking forward for more tomorrow. Even being a Unity-game - meaning, it might be argued that textures are overused and that there could be more variations in models - I think it fits and is well enough balanced. I enjoyed exploring a lot, without the feeling, that I should land all the time and turn every stone. The world scapes while being homogenous, contrast each other and invite to sit on a branch of a tree, take a breath, craw once or twice from time to time. And I’m happy that the story is not trying too hard and especially that it is told with few phrases at a time. I hoped to find some storytelling without the use of written text but I can live with that quite well. -> enable Vsync or limit FPS in-game to keep GPU from going nuts! + a lot to explore + some thrills in flight + until now no time constraints + some environmental puzzles that suit well playing as a raven + expected worse controls, keyboard + mouse plays well enough to have a lot of fun in the air and on the ground - I really like that pressing w once equals one complete wing motion. Rebindable keys. (Gamepad was okay in the air, not so on the ground - too sensitive for me when changing direction) + well made, ravenlike animations and sounds (except: walking at the beginning of the game only, that looked unhealthy) pro or con: soundtrack a little heavy on piano for my liking some unnessessary anthropomorphism - instant text only when pressing interaction button again (at least this is possible) - text during flight on top of the screen (hard to read and manouver at the same time - just once - hopefully it will not be used a lot later on) - sound for item-pic-up and text while being written - maybe ambient sound changes while landing and looking up (as if there was other ambient sound below the surface)?
