Good Open World
This game i really liked, cause not for the graphic but for the environment and for the semi-freedom of doing things in the game, exploration and other. I also appreciate the bonus music and the guide book are very beautiful. So why no try once?

Rough round the edges, but still good.
The first installment of The Witcher shows some age, with it's 2007 release. However, It's undeniable that a lot of time and effort was put into making it look great with what was available. Especially the full in game cutscenes. The writing of the Enhanced edition is also fantastic, even if you know nothing about the series(which the game even works with in it's story via amnesiac protagonist). In terms of Combat, it's an interesting mix. You can go for hours slicing through enemies like it's nothing, then hit a brick wall with some new monster that will laugh at almost anything you throw at it. However, it's not quite frustrating, as it encourages in-game research on each enemy, to find those weaknesses and exploit them. An ounce of preparedness helps as well, to keep a good selection of potions and oils on hand(haven't used bombs much though....). Overall, I would encourage people to give the first game a shot, simply to get a feel for the story if nothing else.
