The Surge 2

Stay away until [FLR] Error is eradicated from the game. It seems that this has been a problem since launch. They claimed to have fixed the issue and now it has returned bigger and more bold as ever after the Kraken Update. I waited to buy 3 months after release, in order to avoid such issues. But the Vulkan API is borked in this game. Yes there are people that have no problems (so they say) But what they aren't telling you is that you have to tweak the crap out of the settings and if you try playing this game above the Medium preset it will crash to desktop with the [FLR] Error. What you have to ask yourself is, do you want to take such a risk with your money. If the answer is yes then by all means go ahead. If you can wait, wait. I have a very beefy rig and i have to play the game on Medium presets in order to get it to function. I love and adore ths franchise but The Surge 2 is my greatest disappointment so Far in 2020. I'm seriously considering a REFUND. This is what you have to look forward to every 5 minutes or even before you load the game into the play area. The lighting is absolutely atrocious, combined with the quirky camera and the level design, you would think the developers were patting themselves in the back for making such a "hard" game Examples: Turn a corner, die because the camera forced you to look away from the pitfall, walk forward, die because the lighting in the game is so terrible you couldnt even see that you had to steer to your right. The lockon system is also unreliable and can get you killed a lot. Graphics that make you blind and infuriating level design are my main gripes, im not going to spend 50+ hours in a game that just makes you miserable This is a great game if you are a CBT enthusiast
