Play as burned-out detective Dick Slater, hunting a serial killer known as the Skin Stapler. Take control of other characters as they are stalked through homes, workplaces, and dark city streets.

 

Victims are skinned, their flesh stapled to nearby walls. Distorted audio tapes taunt police and point to something darker beneath the city. You will scream. You might die. Maybe even from laugther.

Fun, Stupid & Disturbing

Cool horror walking simulator. The game has a very stupid tone, a bit like postal, and it works very well here (even better). The visual style is also perfect: retro and beautifully ugly by design. I hope the dev will continue on this path!

Outrageous Horror Game

The Skin Stapler is a cinematic horror game that is comedic and completely unhinged. You play from the viewpoint of several different characters. Gameplay consists mainly of doing mundane job related tasks, like working in a store stocking shelves and serving customers. When playing as a detective there is investigative and puzzle solving elements. The game has great music, is fully voice acted and stylish retro graphics. One of the best games of this kind I have played.

Enjoyable experience

Funny, raunchy & creepy. Very light puzzle solving and job simulation. Good story telling and completely voice acted. My only gripe is that you need to click the mouse button to advance dialogue. Great artistic retro graphic style. Very polished and enjoyable interactive horror experience.
