Description

Story

Help Summer Summerson, an eighteen year old girl from the middle of nowhere, to achieve her dream of becoming a professional photographer. After participating and winning an online photography contest, Summer receives an offer for a scholarship at one of the most prestigious art colleges in the country.
 

But in order to follow her dream she will have to leave her rural home and move into the big city, a new environment she has never experienced before. Help Summer tackle that exciting new environment, meeting it's inhabitants and making new friends (with benefits) along the way.

 

Gameplay

'Summer In The City' is a classic adult visual novel with a branching storyline. You will make decisions that will shape Summer's adventure in the big city. The story is told via a slice-of-life narrative, dealing with Summer's experiences she makes in her daily life in a new, unknown environment. The game focuses on mature themes in a mostly wholesome and humorous way, always leaving you with a smile after every play session.

 

'Summer In The City' is mainly focused on female/female relationships! There is limited bisexual content, which is 100% optional. The focus remains mostly on female/female content.

Trilogy (At Least) Please!!

I've tried a few adult visual novels and have been left between "meh" and disappointed. Summer In The City finally delivered. This title is not only amazing for those looking for a girl:girl storyline, but there are a number of absolutely hilarious parts. The artwork is amazing and the writing is as great as it needs to be (I think you'll agree). Without spoiling I will suggest anyone who's played Disco Elysium first gets an extra hard laugh! Flip Da S*** Games - this is excellent. More please!

Summer in my city

This is the first game in my GOG library to get played, and I am so glad I did. I am playing the lesbian route (Go, lesbians, Go!) and it has been a pleasure from the start. Summer is just such a darling, and everyone she meets is rightly enamoured with her. And, Flip, wow dude, you really know how to make it sexy (I am a fan of less well-endowed women, I married one too!). Like REALLY sexy, hehehehe. The story is engaging and wildly funny in places, the scenes are both fun and well thought out, the characters are all individuals with subtle layers that they reveal as the story goes on. It's emotional and caring, it pokes fun at tropes and there are more pop-culture references as there are episodes of The Simpsons! And, I am only half way through!! The only reason that this is only 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the music. I know, most people switch it off, and won't care about this next bit, but I am a composer and scorer of games like these, and I believe it is very important to provide a good soundtrack to enhance the emotional impact of the story and pictures. Don't get me wrong, the music in this is just fine, there is just not enough variety. This should not put you off in any way, if you are reading this far, go buy it!

Summer fun

This is AVN story is easy to follow and fun as well play. The MC is female an through your choices you'll need to decide will you play as a bisexual or lesbian, in your sexual path(s) are you going to be Dominant or Submissive as well as later on in the story you will have the choice if you'd like to change your dom/sub path depending on the other person. One side note at this time or at least in Season 1. If you choose the bisexual path there's only one male you can interact with but hopefully the dev(s) will add another one or two more males to the mix. There's some sexual animation as well as music to listen to but there's no sexual sounds or voices through the play through. I just completed my first play through and it took me just over 10 hours to play. I choose the path(s) of Bisexual, Dominance and switch rolls depending on the person. I would recommend to add this one to the collection as well as it's worth the price.
