Plunge into the depths of STASIS: BONE TOTEM, the latest installment in the STASIS anthology.
A new story, new characters, and a new underwater environment to explore.
Follow Mac and Charlie, a husband and wife duo, who make their living scouring the ocean for salvage. But, when they stumble upon an abandoned oil rig in the Pacific Ocean, they uncover a horrific secret that Cayne Corporation will do anything to keep hidden.
As you embark on your adventure playing Mac, Charlie, and their trusty Super-Toy, Moses, you'll encounter an immersive narrative filled with spine-tingling horror and unexpected twists. Combining the thrilling storytelling of STASIS and a tense underwater setting, STASIS: BONE TOTEM offers a personal story that will test the limits of family resilience.
Navigate through a massive underwater base, complete intricate puzzles, and solve an ancient secret concealed at the bottom of the ocean. BONE TOTEM features the same isometric, point-and-click gameplay that made STASIS a classic fan favorite, but with a new cast and a unique setting that will leave you gasping for breath.
With stunning visuals, a music score by Mark Morgan, a screenplay written by a Hollywood ace, voice acting by veteran actors, and a gripping storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat - STASIS: BONE TOTEM is a must-play game for horror and sci-fi adventure fans.
So what are you waiting for? Dive into the unknown and uncover the BONE TOTEM beneath the waves.
I enjoyed the first one, so I was expecting more. There is definitely more story here, the highlight system makes interactions clear, even if sometimes hugely separated out. Good graphically, decent music, and atmospheric.
An "excellent" score is undermined by slow movement, a few truly terrible puzzles that leave you frustrated - no more glitchy "enhance to review security footage" puzzle _ever_ again, thanks!
Other than that, the horror element kind of left the building in Act 2 for me when puzzles needed a lot of backtracking, logs with required info in them in the middle of 10 entries, and so the pacing started to get kind of broken.

This game is also NOT Stasis, and feels like its made by an entirely different team.
The first original game was incredible, this one is not!
Its a 'get easy money and name it a sequel that ppl will buy b/c they expect the same quality of Stasis and then lets inject a bunch of ideologies while at it' game.
Stick with Stasis, dont taint your brain with this game that is not designed for the user at all.
BE AWARE the game uses EOS!
EOS is sometimes snuck into our games under the guise of being there to help with epics online multiplayer services.
I wonder what its doing in offline singleplayer games then.
It is very much known to leech our data from our entire device and any connected drives, clogging up internet speed and taking up resources with increased cpu/ fan speed etc.
Ppl on older machines with little on it will feel it easily when its 'busy' at work.
I dont care if devs say they dont know about it, that its just there to help with 'epic services' or w/e.
It is one of the most widespread data leech spyware programs in games, its proven to be, and even if its 'currently' inactive in that game, it CAN and often DOES get activated at any given point. It is spyware and malware in every sense of the word and reported as such by most security scanners, even as a trojan with fingerprinting which should greatly concern everyone.
Why does a single player offline game want to use something that sends our data to Epic/ third parties without our knowledge and permission?
To have this on your machine = net, privacy and data loss!
Some devs have good intentions and dont know about this if they use a different build b/c its automatically included in some of the UE versions or they are simply new.
But given the nature of this game and its weird and poor contents I think its very intentional here.
If u choose to trust them and/or dont care, go ahead and leave it be.
Those that care might want to remove EOSSDK-win64-shipping.dll.
It is hiding in your plugin folder.
My data and privacy is certainly none of your business.

The game is WOKE.
The wife has been dumbed down and says normal words her husband thinks are big words when they are just regular normal words.
She is also incredibly reckless and stupid. To the point of being ridiculous and annoying to watch. This is again alligning with the 'lets dumb down women' agenda
If there is more I dont know, I quit 1/3 in.

This is not main reason I didnt like it.
I just played through all 3 Stasis games.
To me it feels like a game released to fit certain boxes.
Its nothing like Stasis 1.
-The UI design is deliberatly annoying, you have to click the x to close most stuff, in original u just right click or outside the box area.
-You can double click to add items to craft bar, but to move them bk to toolbar u have to drag and click again to drop??
-Game is so dark u cant see anything or where to go half the time.
-An achievement for not skipping dialogue.. which I ended up doing third way in at the docking station b/c hologram keep talking when you go near so you cant interact with other stuff till its done..
-Game is longer than original, with less quality, dark graphics. The story is..meh.
-Log design is ugly, log characters boring compared to original, I didnt care about logs this time:(
All designed to 'take time'.
AND DONT GET ME STARTED on that regulator valve stuff, its NOT intuitive.
No way to tell how to turn in 10s or 1s lol cause they spin same way, frustrating!
I see in some vids there are indicators for this but I guess GOG didnt get that update.
Stupid lazy design!
Puzzles made no sense and werent fun at all. No logic!
Drag out time with puzzles meant to make us feel dumb b/c the puzzles are intentionally made poorly, all while our time solving data gets send.
The bear.. Its creepy, ugly, not kid friendly.
Who would design a bear that looks so ugly for a kid?
His face looks like something I wont mention here but it fits in in certain other circles.
His voice and lines was annoying and creepy. Creepy!
Whole game gives me weird feeling.
Specially this stupid bear who looks like a monster from any kids pov!
iykyk.
For a Better Day.
The cinematics and voice acting was great tho. Thats the only positive I can mention tbh.
