Local Co-Op: To play split-screen mode, you'll need cabins on your farm to house the other players (Robin can build them, or If you're starting a new game, you can choose to start with cabins already placed on the farm via the advanced game options menu). Once the cabins are there, open your game menu, scroll down to multiplayer, and select "Start local co-op" . The other player can now press start on a controller to initiate split-screen.

The Perfect Distraction
This game is a delightful time sink. So much is on offer here; but not in a way that overwhelms the player. I've only been playing is for a day and I am already in love with it. It's more entertaining than many triple A games out there, and for a fraction of the price. There is no valid excuse to not play this game.

Great Game
I played Stardew Valley in my Tesla it's one of the games that you can play in the car. My kids and I loved the game. I ended buying on Gog so we can play on the computer. This is a really great game for kids and adults. It's really relaxing and fun. It's great that we can play it on our Mac and PC. 5/5 stars

A brightful experience
As written by others Stardew Valley is Harvest Moon spiritual heir, but much more complete and complex. The thing surprised me more is the dept and immersiveness it offers despite the simplicity of the game; the dev put a lot of attention to details, you can notice this every now and then, but many times you doesn't even notice it as it feels so natural. Stardew Valley helped me a lot during pandemic lockdown in 2020, because it had been an open window to an entire new world, where I could meet people, stay outside, adventure in the cave, fish, enjoy the wilderness, while in real life I had to stay at home every day and nothing ever happened. NPCs are simple (no AI or complex interactions), but they are somehow welcoming, and as you improve your relationship with them you come to know more pieces of their life and character. The game offers you many challenges you cannot accomplish in one year, without making you feel overwhelmed; they give you a goal, and you can feel a constant progress as you live your simple and peaceful game life: you simply want to play more. Stardew Valley succeds in giving me a serene and brightful experience, something other same-genre games fails at, and this is for me the most important thing.

You have a life? NOT ANYMORE!
To all of the Harvest Moon players out there. We all agree that Harvest Moon rocked our world in more than a way back then and we always wanted a PC port. Well of you agree with what i just said...why are you still reading? Buy the game! It's a redefined version of Harvest Moon with many new possibilities and new stuff. Wanna play as a trucker man looking farmer? You got it! A cool pretty girl? There you have it! Customization is so cool you spend a lotta time on it. You can customize your house , your character, your farm and many more stuff. So if you wanna have fun for many years to come, do yourself a favor and buy it. you won't regret it.

Heart warming - incredible good gameplay
Normally I just play AAA RPGs like The Witcher or Skyrim. This one caught my attention because of its SNES graphics style, which reminds me of my first console games. I've played this game now for 60 hours and must say that this one is a nice and sweet little gem. The art and sound style is very heart warming, as well as the different story lines you stumble upon. Besides that the game offers a real nice gameplay, where you can do tons of stuff: Cultivate plants, upgrade items, craft stuff, fish, cook, marry someone, invest in a super market chain (or don't), fight cave monsters, find secrets... (Have I mentioned the 60 hours game time - this is no open world game!) All the different gameplay mechanics and tasks work extremely well together - the guy who programmed this must be a genius. 10/10 would eat the starfruit again
