  • Overhauled Economy & Looting – no more buy-sell comfort loops. GAMMA removes easy trading and randomized stash rewards, forcing you to scavenge, craft, and survive through intent, not convenience.

I died, died, died, died in a minute

I can't understand why people like this game. It's a mod that might as well start you off dead. You can't even last a minute without dying and it sucks. I've played souls-like games that were waaay more fair than this crap! The funny thing is: At the beginning, I didn't even move and still I died from radiation. Then, I tried to escape anywhere and.. you guessed it: I died. I never uninstalled a game as quickly as this one. If you like a fair challenge, stay away from this, this game will suck your energy and your will to live out of you. Just play Dark Souls instead, it will be much more fair and you have a chance to survive there!

Surprised to see this on GOG.

If you're into S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods, G.A.M.M.A. is one of the most played mods outside of the Eastern European community. Built on Anomaly (which is also at GOG), it's a fun sandbox version of the Zone allowing you to play other factions beyond the Loners; UNISG, Rengades, and Sin are actually hidden factions. If G.A.M.M.A. isn't your thing ... try one of these other "sandbox" mods also built on Anomaly (Escape From Pripyat, ZONA, HayZee Anomaly Custom Repack, Forgotten Zone) If you want more story oriented, look into True Stalker or Spatial Anomaly to name a few. Check out "Cheeki.Zone" by CheekiBreekiTv for additional suggestions. I find myself playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods, way more than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chernobyl.
