Great Parkour and Exploration Game

This is honestly an amazing game for the price point. Controls feel very tight with great traversing mechanics so movement flows from one action to the next. Combat is simple but affective with a parry mechanic a bit more forgiving than other games. Graphics in game are really well done for this style with simple colours that make it easy to point out types of terrain, enemies and collectables. It's an industrial world with oranges and greys but it's quite vibrant which explains the comparisons people have made to Mirror's Edge with it's simple colour system. The world has a lot of vertical paths and encourages exploration to find collectables. Honestly do not sleep on this game.

Satisfying parkour, with a nostalgia

Game consist of smooth parkour Elements, easy to understand combat, and short rest segments that allow us to put our chainsword away for a little while, to talk with a protagonist P and gather some of the in-game lore. The game World is set in a giant structure designed with straightforward and clean terrain, thanks to the implemented scanner we can easily see the placement of the enemies, checkpoints and the orbs. The former which are a form of Collectibles around the levels which we can keep track in our main menu in case we want to 100% the game. Thanks to the many customization options we can easily adjust our game to our preferences, i'am manly speaking about the camera options. Where after setting them to cinematic I again felt that like I was playing Shadow of the Colossus. Thanks to the build-in game selfie mode we can change the expressions and body posture of P and make some pretty nice and cute screenshots. Not to mention the one thing that i still miss to this day in more games, a fully interactive main menu, where if you “poke” around long enough you will find out a new way of closing the game ;) Overall a very nice game for a low price.

great game . would make much more sucesss if it was on switch 2. playng on Rog ally X. very fluid at low. game very kindy with a simpatethic protagonist.,woth a lot, thanls for the ten percent on day one

Stylish parkour with flashy fights

TL;DR: Good movement mechanics, interesting collectables, simplistic story. 7.5/10 It's an amazing game with beautifully stylized world. Every map is carefully crafted with many eye-catching scenes, level design is surprisingly complex but you always know where you need to go. Controls are quite simple, there is one button that attacks and parries, movement/parkour isn't quite as easy but it's not that hard to get used to. Parkour parts are cool and flow quite well at high speeds, but if you slow down its not that hard to notice rough edges, especially when you jump from a bar to a pipe that's a bit to far away so game kinda clumsily pushes your character to make the jump. Wall-running is entirely another beast, it is well polished and flows quite well jumping from cracks to wallrun to a motor-gliding section is amazing and has quite a bit of depth. You even can parkour your way around the intended path if you can find the way. Unfortunately there are a few places where parkour mechanics kinda work against you and you have to work around them, for example in chapter 3 you have to jump down onto a staircase but I jumped over it 2 times because P's jump is fine-tuned for parkour not general use. Battles aren't hard but you die in one hit so sometimes you have to slow down and plan your movements, especially when two long range enemies are covering each other. Battles get more complex and and 3 dimensional the farther you go but its still possible to win by slide attack spam. Bosses are this games main appeal, each boss is fun and engaging in its own way, having to figure out how to attack them isn't hard but its engaging enough to be fun. There are in-game hints that are accessible after first death but boss design is clear enough to not be needed. Collectables are a bit out of the way and you kinda have to use goggles to find them. The path to them isn't challenging but if its gonna be hard to collect them all on your first playtrough. Story is quite limited and your reply options are interesting to say the least, but if you are a fan of horny humor you will enjoy it because i sure did. You can say that P the main character is kinda sexualized but I think that it was done in a neutral way where it is tasteful and isn't overplayed. Overall I'd say that if you like epic boss battles like in Shadow of the Colossus, mirrors edge style parkour and brutalist architecture, I'd recommend you to buy it so long as you don't expect a story grander than the Shadow of the colossus has. I would give this game a 7.5/10 for being a good and fine polished game with great movement and Bosses but it would be much better with more complete story. Hopefully the devs continue the developing this amazing game series and motorslice 2 will be a 10/10
