My first ever MK

While the graphics and animation have aged poorly and the gibberish spouted by the characters comedically, this was my first ever MK and second ever fighting game I owned next to War Gods, so there is an element of nostalgic adoration for it, however it is still a solid game despite the silly visuals, and the soundtrack is IMO the best in the entire series.

Almost a flawless victory

Game runs fine and didnt get any trouble to make it start. Only problem is the game seem to detect the controller stick and not the directional buttons on the xbox controller. The *easy* fix I found involve downloading 2 mapping software which seem a bit overkill for a game I paid 1.50$ just to see endings and mess around from time to time. Fighting game with controller joystick is just not really precise ( at least for me )

Fun but controller support is iffy

The game itself is fun, I know a lot of people don't like MK4 but I really have no problems with it. Most people are gonna play this with a controller because it's a fighting game, and for the most part my PS4 controller worked great with it. However, it wouldn't let me use the d-pad for movement/combos. Just a personal thing but I don't like playing fighting games on a stick. Other than that I enjoyed it but the stick killed it for me.
