Mortal Kombat 4

I've always liked this game, and I'm glad I was able to pick it up during this 1.50 sale! That being said, the only complaint I had was having to use Joy to key to use the d-pad, but once I got that going, it played perfectly. Thanks, Gog, for preserving these games! Oh, by the way it works great on Intel Irix Xe (which is a fairly common laptop graphics chip these days).

Game runs fine and didnt get any trouble to make it start. Only problem is the game seem to detect the controller stick and not the directional buttons on the xbox controller. The *easy* fix I found involve downloading 2 mapping software which seem a bit overkill for a game I paid 1.50$ just to see endings and mess around from time to time. Fighting game with controller joystick is just not really precise ( at least for me )

The game itself is fun, I know a lot of people don't like MK4 but I really have no problems with it. Most people are gonna play this with a controller because it's a fighting game, and for the most part my PS4 controller worked great with it. However, it wouldn't let me use the d-pad for movement/combos. Just a personal thing but I don't like playing fighting games on a stick. Other than that I enjoyed it but the stick killed it for me.
