Good Game, but Poor Writing

The core of this game seems to be quite a good card battling game. This part of the game is enjoyable and (once you get the hang of the Essence mechanic and cards) quite in depth. The voice acting and plot are generally good but the game is let down by very poor writing in the form of an over-abundance of swearing and profanity. Maybe the game is trying to go for a "mature" and "dark" vibe, but its over-reliance on four-letter words to fill in text and make up for a lack of vocabulary or imaginative writing is unfortunate. It is generally a good game, but you will need to be prepared to put up with a lot of foul language.
