It met my expectation

I went into a game expecting to play a rogue-lite team builder arena battler and that is what I got. This is a game for people that likes to put together different combination of units to beat the boss run. You can't control your units in battle, the battle will play itself automatically. You can manage your units position and build before the battle start. A successful run takes about 1 hour. It took me 2 tries for a successful run. After a successful run you can increase the difficulty modifier by 1 for the next run. You start at difficulty 0. I played the game on Windows 10 using Keyboard and Mouse. I did not experience any crashes and everything ran smoothly for me. There are 72 heroes/units from 24 distinct classes in total that you can use to build your party. 3 different heroes/unit to choose from in a class. Every hero from the same class share similar skills but each one do have a distinct starter skill. Not all units are available from the start probably at least half are lock in the beginning. You unlock them by either encountering them during a run or using crystals which you get in a run. Even if you fail a run you keep the crystals. It takes 100 crystals to unlock a unit. From the runs I completed, I average 150-200 crystals in a run. You can choose and upgrade your unit skills when you level them up as well as equip gear on them which you get after battles, completing missions or events. There are 2 game modes to choose from. Open World Mode and Conquest Mode. I would recommend starting with Open World Mode for your first play through because in Conquest Mode the enemy unit levels can out level you by 2 levels. For example your unit will be level 4 while their units are level 6. Also you can't avoid any battles because the map is linear and there is only 1 path compare to Open World mode where you can avoid battles when your units are weak and return to them when your units get stronger. There seem to be only 1 map for each mode. The map layout for Open World Mode will change per run. The difficulty in this game was harder than it needed to be. The enemy party size can be twice as big as yours, as well as being higher level. I had battles where I had only 10 units and the enemy had 20 units and each unit was 1 level higher than mine. I was able to overcome it thankfully with a decent team composition. It was against the demon lord boss fight needed to complete the run. If I couldn't overcome it then I would needed to give up and restart the run. 10 unit is the max party size for your team. Also to make the game harder for you even on the starter difficulty, there is a miasma debuff in the game where the enemy units stats get stronger every passing day by 1%. In order to combat that you need to beat bosses or trigger events that lets you choose to reduce miasma by 2%. If you manage this well then you won't have to worry about the miasma debuff because it will be at 0% or only a few percentages. Having said all that negative, I still greatly enjoy the game. It is simple to learn and straight forward to play. If the game was more balance in favor of the player it would have been much better. The replayability of the game comes from trying out different combinations to complete the run and increase difficulty after a successful run. I do wish there was more content in the game. I give the game 5/5 because it was what I expected it to be. It is as the game trailer present it to be. If I had to be more critical the game would be 4/5 due to the game being harder than needed in my opinion against the player especially in earlier difficulty. I got the game for $2 during a sale and I would recommend it at around that price. You would be able to get at least a few hours of fun. If you plan to unlock all units and create as many different team composition as you can then at least 10+ hours.
