Once the legendary warrior Smyrna, now long forgotten in the depths of Kalyzmyr. Break your chains and earn your freedom! Use your mighty axe and devastate your foes that keep you locked in Kalyzmyr! 

 

Fight and defend through hordes of demons in this old-school fast-paced action game. 
Each floor starts with a defense phase where you defend yourself from hordes of creatures by buying and upgrading defensive equipment. Kill monsters to earn money and experience. Level up your stats and skills, loot chests to level up your equipment using materials. Optimize your build to overcome challanges. 

 

Randomized boons that can either boost your strength or weaken you. 

Feeling weak? Or did you get unlucky? Break the door to turn back to the previous floor anytime. Farm lower levels and be prepared to face stronger opponents. 

Unleash Your True Power 
Unleash Smyrna’s true potential by activating ‘Berserk’ mode which allows you to attack at maximum speed for the duration. 

 

Challange Bosses 
You can challange boss of the current level by paying Crystals to the Mushroom King for extra materials. 

 

Defeat three bosses and make your escape from the sunless dungeon Kalyzmyr.

Does Kalyzmyr have DRM?

I've played worse

It's a game. It plays. The controls are kind of annoying. For a game where you have to stare at the screen to time dodges, the animations and visuals were harsh. The timings were unforgiving and not always intuitive. You can bypass the final boss, which is both awful and fine. Awful, because you shouldn't be able to do that. Fine, because otherwise I'd have to grind lower floors forever to get the stats to beat the boss. At the time I reached the boss, he two shot me. Which brings me to the next mechanic. I don't understand the "downed" mechanic to get back up, and you don't get time to respond when it happens. Not a fun game when I decide I'd rather not waste my time to beat the final boss.

Dreadful controls

As someone who never played a game that almost purely relies on the keyboard, the controls were absolutely dreadful...Ok, i thought, i´ll just use my controller then. It seems to be half assed implemented as you can´t use the controller in any menus like at all so its this weird hybrid play style of keyboard, mouse and controller. I´m sure people more accustomed with keyboard reliant controls can find a great little arcadey title here but people more familiar with modern controls might want to stay away.
