Description

Go where your heart takes you... but prepare yourself for a mind-boggling experience!


A delightful elf named Percival finally decided to propose to his true love, Gwendolyn. In Percival's land, every elf must perform a special task before he can marry. Percival's assignment is no piece of cake.


He is magically transported to a strange world, consisting of one small chamber after another. To succeed, he must find his way through 20 different chambers, collecting all the hidden hearts in each of them. Do not think that the elderly, magical elves made it easy.


There are tunnels (many that dead end), falling rocks and exploding bombs. Think carefully, because they can actually be useful. By stacking rocks, you can build bridges and ramps. Bombs are indispensable for forcing brick walls and other obstructions. Watch out! They may easily trap you in a chamber if the door gets blown up.


Finally, you must handle the hearts very carefully, as they each contain a drop of Gwendolyn's blood. Each time one is lost in an explosion, she feels a stab of pain in her heart.

  • Adjusted DOSBox settings to improve both performance and sound quality.
  • Added an option to enter the in-game setup menu for sound adjustments.
  • Added game configurator that allows to adjust resolution, shaders, audio etc.
  • Added controller mapping.
  • Added a secret.
  • Enabled cloud saves support.

Man this takes me back! I spent hours and hours on this as a kid, and my 11 year old son has just spent a couple of hours on it again.

A classic 2D puzzle game

A classic 2D puzzle game which brought back plenty of nostalgia for me, but also plenty of frustration. The mix of reflex and thinking puzzles is good but being able to save mid-level or undo a move is a must in this type of game as one mistake often forces you to start over. The upbeat music and bright graphics are good and keep it enjoyable enough as do the variety of puzzle mechanics.

Eines der Spiele meiner Kindheit

Ich erinnere mich noch an damals als mein Opa sich immer irgendetwas neues in sein DOS/Windows 3.11 PC gebaut hat. Ich hab damals natürlich keine ahnung gehabt wovon er da geredet hat, aber er hatte wie immer ein paar Disketten und CDs gehabt, wo er uns ein paar tolle Programme und Spiele gezeigt hat. Darunter Prince of Persia, Schiffe Versenken, "ein Spiel mit einem alten Mann mit Krückstock in einer Burg" und auf einer neu gekauften "DAS" CD, die Demo Version von Heartlight. In Heartlight muss man versuchen alle Herzen einzusammeln, ohne von Steinen, Granaten oder fallenden Herzen getroffen zu werden. Hört sich leicht an, aber jedes Level wird immer schwerer. Mal kann man sich den komletten Weg mit Steinen versperren oder man sprengt versehentlich ein Herz oder den Ausgang in die Luft. Dann startet man das Level einfach nochmal von vorne und versuchts nochmal. Ich habe das Spiel letztes Jahr ENDLICH komplett durchgespielt und die einzigen "Probleme" mit dem Spiel sind, meiner Meinung nach: -Kein Speichern -Nur ein Lied, das sich allerdings nach einer Weile ins Gedächnis fräst Wer ein schönes, kleines Spiel für zwischendurch sucht, dem kann ich dieses Spiel sehr ans Herz legen Habe gerade kurz die GOG Version Angespielt: Wie es aussieht ist dies ist übrigens die Deluxe Version, die 70 Level hat. In der Spielebeschreibung hier steht das es die Shareware Version mit 20 Leveln ist, was allerdings nicht stimmt.
