BLOODY EXCELLENT!
Captures everything I love about old schools shooters and has some great customization options for both keyboard and controlers. The wait was very much worth it (yes I could have gotten it on Steam but I like GOG being fully DRM Free). Plus the soundtrack is pumping! I very much recommend this.

Everything good about retro gaming!
I just finished the game and it was quite a ride. It kind of looks like the first quake but the map design is even crazier. This game has lovely 90ies graphics and a good set of weapons, each one with it's own advantages. The slide when you walk and then duck is a nice move which came in handy in some situations. Dusk did not re-invent the genre but it used the elements of it very well. If you like solid oldschool straight-forward shooters then is a game for you! Plus it has an awesome soundtrack!

PERFECTION
BUY THIS NOW! DUSK is an amazing shooter that runs on the potato-est of machines, an excellent throwback to games of the '90s, and still manages to be better than 85% of the new games released now...Also the devs are hella cool...Play some DUSKWORLD with us all, we hunt down Dave, muahahah.

Excellent retro FPS.
Action is smooth, music is great, level design is impressive. Definitely worth it for any fans of Quake, Doom, Blood, etc.

"One must always reign beneath..."
If you're a fan of the old school, and newer school style boomer shooters, this is for you. If you also like horror, shooting monsters and just plain ole' blasting baddies in the face, this is for you. The controls take some time getting used to (I'm still very casual with my understanding of them), but the game does a good job of providing you with the weapons, and giving you environments to try them out in. There is no hand-holding here. There are strong elements of old school gaming rules where the tools provided will allow you to finish the job, and you will be expected to learn the mechanics as you trudge along. This allows for newer and less seasoned players to try and wet their hands on lower difficulties, and gives room for growth and experimentation as you progress to harder difficulties (if you desire to try your hand at it).
